OVERVIEW:
OWYN’s email marketing strategy represents a significant portion of the brand’s e-commerce revenue. With emails being a virtual storefront for many of their DTC customers, we were given the task to upgrade their email campaigns. Before updating templates, we looked at what the data was trying to show us. We continued implementing what worked and got rid of what was lowering their conversions. The result is a combination of a vibrant look, engaging copy, educational featured blogs, delicious recipes, and animated elements that were sure to capture users and take them a step closer to purchase. Additionally, we tested many of these new elements to asses the needs/wants of the users, and to make sure that we continue applying best practices moving forward.
